KUBO AND THE TWO STRINGS

Hiya, Hope here!

What it’s about: Kubo and The Two Strings is about a boy called Kubo who looks after his mother. He also has a guatar (don’t know how to spell, whoops!).

Anyways, his is magical and turns paper into little models, although he’s not allowed out after dark. (I’m not telling why in case it spoils it!) But then he starts a quest to find magic armour to keep himself safe, but he gets some help along the way by a beetle and a monkey!

My thoughts: This film is absolutely beautiful and eyecatching although I got very emotional at bits, which meant I was crying! It wasn’t just beautiful to look at, it was a beautiful story!

I’m going to be honest I LOVED IT!

It was well placed too and explained everything really well but the thing that I was amazed about was that it’s not animation it’s PUPPETS!

I loved this and my score is

  1. I’m absolutely with you on this one. We’re in a glorious age of animation at the moment, and it just seems to keep on getting better.

  2. Great review – we watched it the other week and felt the same – blown away by how nice it looks, really touched by the story and the humour was a great bonus 🙂
